How the guide, submissions and passport work.

Who operates this guide?

Everything Ekurhuleni is an independent community guide. The legal operator is Jean Martin Zuidersma, trading as Everything Ekurhuleni. It is separate from the City of Ekurhuleni and the organisations listed.

Contact: jmzuidersma@gmail.com. Operator contact address: 78 Goshawk Crescent, Parklands Estate, Boksburg, South Africa. Telephone: 0724522300.

Using the guide

This free website provides general local information and links. A listing is not a partnership, endorsement, approval of a provider’s qualifications or promise of current opening hours. Source-check dates show when information was reviewed. Confirm access, prices, hours, tickets and suitability directly with the provider before travelling, booking or paying. Municipal faults must be reported through official City channels.

We do not sell tickets, process payments, arrange club membership or supply the listed services. Any booking or purchase is with the relevant provider under its terms. Stoffel is a browser-based guide, not a live municipal or professional advice service.

Submission rules

Submitting a business, service, group or place is free and is available to people aged 18 or older. Supply accurate public information and a reliable source. You must be authorised to share contact details and have the rights needed for any material you submit. Do not impersonate someone, make defamatory claims, publish confidential or private information, submit unlawful content or misrepresent qualifications.

By submitting public listing content for review, you permit us to check, edit for clarity and publish those public details in this directory, subject to your privacy rights and the Privacy notice. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content or permit publication of your private review correspondence. We may decline, correct or remove listings. Publication and passport selection are separate decisions; there is no automatic publication or promised response date.

Corrections and rights complaints

Use the correction page or the email, telephone or postal contact details above to report inaccurate, infringing or inappropriate content. Identify the page and concern; provide evidence or your authority where relevant. Keep sensitive evidence out of public submissions. We review requests and may remove or revise content while checking a concern.

Your local passport

The passport is an optional personal record saved in your browser. Record visits honestly. A stamp does not verify attendance, certify safety, give permission to enter a site or provide discounts, prizes or rewards. Follow venue rules and arrange access where needed. Download backups to keep memories when changing devices or domains. Device data may be lost or accessible to another person using the same browser.

Images, names and licences

Third-party names identify the listed organisations. We do not claim their endorsement or ownership of their trademarks. Reused photographs and adapted versions retain the licences, author credits and source links shown on the Photo credits page. These licences govern reuse of those photographs; website branding does not override them. The homepage illustration and Stoffel are illustrative artwork, not documentary images or proof of a place’s current condition.

Service availability and legal rights

We try to keep information useful and correct, but sources, events and services can change. We may update or interrupt the guide. Nothing in these terms excludes a duty or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits rights under applicable South African law. South African law applies, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you. Changes to these terms will be dated on this page.
