A guide you can check
How we check information
Useful local information should have a source, a date and a way to put it right.
Where our information comes from
We use business websites, venue and organiser calendars, and official City of Ekurhuleni pages. Every directory entry links to its source and shows when it was checked. A checked source confirms what was published that day; it does not mean we inspected or endorsed the business.
Opening hours and contact details
We publish hours only when a provider gives them. Holiday arrangements, bookings and individual store hours can differ. Where sources disagree or no hours are published, we ask you to confirm with the provider.
Events and municipal information
Confirm event dates, tickets and availability with the organiser. Expired dates are removed from our upcoming event views. Municipal links take you to official notices and reporting channels; this website does not display live outage status or submit fault reports.
A directory that grows with the community
Owners and residents can suggest a local listing or share an event. We review the source details before adding them. Inclusion is not a rating or recommendation, and there is no pay-to-rank system in this guide.
Found something wrong?
Use “Suggest a correction” on a directory card, or contact us here. Include the affected page and a source showing the correct information. We will review it before updating the guide.
Photographs and artwork
Town photographs show identifiable local places. Some are archive photographs, so they may not show current conditions. Authors, dates, source links and reuse licences are listed in photo credits. Stoffel and the homepage lakeside scene are original illustrations.
