Swap the weather-dependent part of your outing.
Choose a suitable indoor option
Look for libraries, art studios, indoor sports venues or a place to eat. Indoor does not necessarily mean drop-in: classes and municipal facilities may need bookings or operate only for arranged activities.
Call before travelling
Confirm the day’s hours, visitor access and whether the activity is running. For a class, check what is included and the cancellation policy. For a library, ask about the programme or study facilities you intend to use.
Keep travel realistic
Choose somewhere reasonably close, allow for traffic and check the forecast before leaving. If the roads or conditions are unsuitable, reschedule instead. Save the venue to your plan, then add a passport stamp only when you have actually visited.
