Useful local guides
Find your people, close to home
Turn an interest into a regular local connection.
Start with what you enjoy
Choose one activity you would enjoy even if you arrived on your own: a short run, taking photographs, a team sport or making something. Use the community directory to filter by town and interest. A venue listing helps you find a space; it does not confirm that a particular club meets there.
Make the first visit easier
Ask the organiser whether beginners can join, who will welcome you, the current meeting place and time, and whether you need to book. Check costs, equipment, age groups and accessibility. Arrange your own transport and tell someone where you are going.
Give it a fair try
Try a few sessions before deciding whether it suits you. Your passport can record places you actually visit. If you know another local club, submit its official details for review.
